The Last Fetish Label-series by Moon ImportThe latest series, or Collezione, by the Italian bottler Moon Import from Genova is called: “The Last Fetish”, 2011.

Moon Import started in the seventies and was at that time one of the biggest players, an independent bottler, in the whisky-world, and one of the first to show interest in Single Malt Whisky. Today Moon Import is still a very well known bottler with high quality whiskies, a strong reputation and with their focus on the Italian market. Their thirtieth anniversary was celebrated in 2010.

Whisky accounts for only a small part of their alcoholics in a collection of products that range from Champagne to Olive Oil and coffee. The company seems rather introvert and although they have had multiple ranges it is not easy to get hold of these.

Whisky ranges current and from the past include names like: “Selezione Moon Import”, “30 Anniversario”, “In The Pink” (2000), “Horae Solaris” (1998), “Seven Seas” (1997), “De Viris illustribus” (1995), “Cars” and “Ships”. Older series are “Costumes” and “The Animals”, “The Sea” (all 1988), “The Birds” (1987) and still some others.
